The Beginning

This blog began as "The Battle For Seattle", my tribute blog that followed my journey to run the Seattle Rock "n" Roll Half Marathon for my granny who had just passed away on January 4, 2010.  Her name "Satoye" means gift of Seattle, so I thought it befitting to dedicate the run to her.  It followed my training and efforts put forward to prepare for that race.  I finished that race in 2:26:20 and felt amazing when I finished.  The GF also joined me and finished only 6 minutes behind me!

The blog has evolved throughout the past 2 years to become just a first hand account of what's going on in my life and how I've trained for random races here and there and how I haven't trained for other races.  You get a glimpse into my life with friends and family.

I also have a pretty crazy view on the world and think that a lot of people are just as crazy.  This is a blog that tells you my random thoughts and quips and still catalogs my trials and tribulations in the running world.
