The Chicken

Who Am I?

Just a squirrel...trying to get a nut!  I'm the chicken!  Not because I've got small legs, nor because I'm afraid of things (except for spiders and most other bugs).  I'm the chicken because it's catchy!  It's easy to remember, so in turn, everyone remembers me!  I am my own person and you'll never find anyone like me.  I'm an individual, but I depend greatly and hugely on my GF to take care of me and make sure I stay "in line"!  I am dedicated to the GF more than anything in my life.  I've got a laid back nature about me, so I don't stress about the small stuff.  I love my sense of humor and I know some others who do too!  And I'm always open to laugh at myself...why not, I do crazy sh*t!  Actually, I'm pretty modest, but I'm very honest and I'll be there for you if you're there for me!

Where Am I From?

I hail from the up and coming town of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  You might know it from the Balloon Fiesta, or Hatch Green Chile, or even the Albuquerque Isotopes (Dukes).  The weather is pretty great all year round, but can definitely get hot-hot in the summer and cold-cold in the winter, but neither one sticks around for long.  You can go fishing in the lakes, camping all over the state, and skiing in the winter.  There's hiking in the mountains, running on the trails, and biking next to the river.  There's sports bars with heaping piles of nachos, cold beer flowing daily, and people watching stations everywhere you look.  There's open plains of desert, high snow-capped mountains, and a city that's growing far and wide.  I absolutely love the atmosphere in Albuquerque, and I'm proud to say I was born and raised in this great place.

My Family

The GF, as I've mentioned before is the most important person in my life.  I adore this woman and will for the rest of my life.  She is my everything and I would be completely lost without her.  She also puts up with me, more than anyone should ever have to do.  I don't know what she sees in me, but she's definitely the yin to my yang, the salt to my pepper, the chocolate to my vanilla!  We also have the 2 cutest pups in the world and the 2 most high maintenance cats ever.  We have trained the dogs the best we know how, as is evident from their mishaps all the time.  But when they're cute on you, you just wanna rub their ears and give them millions of kisses.

My bro and seester and my niece and nephew are such an amazing family.  The way they work their lives around each other to make sure everything gets accomplished is amazing.  The way they've fought back through the hard times and have grown to really have a strong-strong relationship.  I look up to my big bro and I'm very proud of who he's become.  My seester is the best thing to ever happen to him and I'm glad she's there to keep him on his toes.  My niece is beautiful and smarter than me and is growing into the prettiest princess in the land.  My nephew is better than other kids his age...and it's true!  And his curly hair and dimples will make you swoon over him as much as I do!

My Friends

My 2 BFF's are 2 of the greatest people in the world.  And I'm not just saying that...they really are.  One of them I have a standing lunch date with every Monday afternoon and she has the biggest heart in the world.  Ask anyone.  She would do anything for anyone.  If you lost an eye, I bet she'd be on the lookout for you.  If you lost a limb, she'd climb a tree and cut one down for you.  If you lost your marbles, she'd take you to buy some new ones.  And if you just needed a simple hug, she'd sit next to you and and console you until you both started laughing again.  Like I said...the biggest heart in the world.

The other BFF is one of the most humble individuals I know.  She'll never set out to hurt someones feelings, but in turn can get her heart broken.  She believes in you when no one will.  She's beautiful inside and out and will have your back any time of the day.  This is someone you want on your side.  She works too hard, but knows that no one else will do it (or do it right).  She tells it like it is and never sugar coats things, but is the most gentle soul you will ever find.  She is truly my best buddy and even though we've been through hell to find each other, we've both come out better people on the other side!
