Up on a Pedestal

The GF is an amazing person.  In fact, she's perfect.  When we first met, her only goal was making sure I didn't score a touchdown.  Not a lot of people can say they met their significant other on the football field.  I did, and so far it's been the most amazing 6 and a half years of my life.  She's taught me so many things over those years, like Mutton Bustin, the funniest sport around!

She's taught me how to be a bit more sensible with my decisions in life.  She's been there for many of my highs, like becoming a teacher, graduating with my Masters, running my races, and turning 30.  She's been there for many of my lows, like having thumb surgery, anytime that I'm sick, and turning 30.  She has supported me in everything that I've ever done, even if they were stupid decisions!

We've done a tremendous amount of things together, which makes doing them that much more enjoyable.  Like running the Seattle Half Marathon together and traveling all over the world!  Two years ago we bought a house together and it's the greatest investment we've ever made, other than our two puppies.

I can't thank her enough for everything she's ever done for me cooking, cleaning, dishes, laundry.  She has truly made me a better person.  She makes life so easy for me and I couldn't be more grateful.  And boy does she make me laugh!  You know that show "Kids say the darndest things"?

Well, I really wanna send the GF to that show!  Seriously!  You never know what she's gonna say.  Like the time she asked what happens when you poop into a bidet (toilet) and you flush it...does it fly up into the air and hit the ceiling?  The laughs never stop when you're around her.

I've never loved anything or anyone more than I love her.  She means the world to me, and there's nobody I'd rather spend the rest of my life with.  Being with her gives me the satisfaction in knowing that I'm gonna smile and laugh and be happy for all my days to come.  Happy Birthday!  I love you baby!
